The Work That Renews with Kim Hershorn PhD
Learn how your stories are embodied and grow beyond transgenerational inheritances and trauma.
The body is electric and vibrational. It remembers past experiences – even of previous generations. The crystalline matter of the body resonates to the mind’s memory.
As we attune to the light of the soul, of love, of life, we can process and heal our histories. We grow beyond our habitual mental survival strategies and heal the embodiment of the shadow.
We can transform our experience by allowing the radiant flow of life through the form.
Understand and work through the connections between personal, familial, and collective histories and find ways to improve your health and the health of your communities.
See and experience new possibilities.
Develop a practice, including tools you could use in your daily lives, that will help you grow beyond your challenges, heal survival responses, and learn heartfulness as a restorative and transformational practice and process.
Sessions include meditations, body work, narrative therapy and Tuned Life Story work. Workshops make use of personal work and Sanctuary Circles.
Living in Jerusalem has allowed me to study and learn about the legacies and enduring wounds of history in a unique way. It has given me a living field in which to explore how to heal it.
My work in peace-building and non-violent communication (NVC) brought me to Germany, Ireland, Northern Ireland; and my grandparents’ and great-grandparents’ towns in Poland and Ukraine.
I’ve also been able to have healing and research missions in places I lived in my twenties – Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, and Vienna – to explore how place, memory, and collective histories affect our personal ones.
Here are some meaningful snapshots from this journey:
I can see the bigger picture and understand why I went through what I went through and appreciate the opportunities being offered me. Working with Kim helped me see that the universe really knows what it’s doing, that we are always supported and guided, and that there is a blessing and Divine hand in everything. Nothing short of inspiring.”
